Dance and Qigong Classes
As a teacher, performer, and maker I love to facilitate dance experiences, bringing dance and creative movement to all, any age and ability. I run inclusive dance classes open to all with a focus on Contemporary Dance and Somatic Techniques to support vitality in body and mind, and expand movement and creative possibilities. I also work with improvisation and compositional approaches to develop personal and collective expression.
Dance Class for Over 50s - On Pause
Fridays 2-3pm
An inclusive dance class for anyone over the age of 50 curious to find freedom and enjoyment through dance. With a Contemporary Dance foundation, we will work on dance exercises and sequences to improve posture, release tension, and develop strength and flexibility to move with fluidity and ease. Adaptations will be offered for any mobility limitations.
Qigong for beginners
Sundays 9-10am
Qigong is a gentle form of exercise integrating mind, body and breath that can help calm the nervous system, improve flexibility and posture, support circulation, and cultivate balance in your everyday life.
Through Qigong you will learn to listen to your body and replenish your energy.
