DANCING TALES

Dancing Tales: Public Places to Hidden Spaces is an interactive dance-theatre piece choreographed and performed by dancers Sophie Arstall and Elizabeth Barker, accompanied by a newly composed three-dimensional sound experience by Michele Panegrossi. This piece is designed for short walks in and around different landscapes, both urban and natural where the audience walk with dancers as they are led along a specific trail. Images, fleeting narratives and familiar tales appear as the journey unfolds and reveals a story of its own. Created and performed in 2012 as part of Big Dance and City Noises European Union Festival, performed in London, Devon, Helsinki and Budapest.
